My infant is stuck in the '80s

Yes, I know that my son was born this year and there is NO way he could even know what the '80s are.  But he is stuck in them nonetheless.  Why do I say this?  Ummm, let's see.  He has hair in the back and none in the front, his head rocks back and forth, and every outfit he owns has some cheesy saying on the front.  See, I told you he's stuck in the '80s.

Bless his heart.  He can't help it.  His Mom grew up in the '80s and his Dad, well, his Dad was born in the '80s.  So I guess you could say it was inevitable.  I wonder if that means he'll listen to DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.  Or maybe Poison or Def Leppard.  Or any number of music artists who's name brings back memories to most of you who read this blog.  Don't try to hide it.  You know what I'm talking about.  Finish these lyrics:

I ran, I ran so far ____
Take on me, take me __
867-_ _ _ _
Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you ____ __ ____
She blinded me with ________
We're not gonna ____ __
Dancing on the _______

See.  You knew exactly what I'm talking about, didn't you?!?

Anyway, I digress.  The whole point of this blog is that it suddenly donned on me that my little 3 1/2 month old son doesn't wear an outfit unless it has some cute or funny saying on it.  As I was hanging up his clothes this morning, I realized this.  First it was "Happy", then "I love Dad" and "I <3 Mom", then we moved on to "Bananas over Mommy" and "Daddy's little Buddy", and finally we came to "Feed Me" and "I'm a Keeper".  That's when it really hit me.  My son wears cheesy onesies every day of his life.  Every picture that is recorded from birth until to now will make him cringe when he looks back at them.  And what will I have to say for it all..."O' Sweet Child of Mine", "It's a crazy little thing love", "Don't Worry, Be Happy".
