I realized yesterday that I haven't written anything on my blog about BOTH of my sister-in-laws being pregnant. So I figured it's about time. Rocky's sister Amber is expecting a girl in January 2010. I think she's due Jan. 19th (her Happy Gotcha Day and my birthday). She's about 34 weeks along. Which means Rocky's parents are expecting grandbabies from both of their children. That means they're getting a girl and boy in 2010. Amber also has a son named Tyrin.
A few weeks ago, my brother and his wife announced they too were expecting. Crystal has started her own blog. Click here to read it. She is due in June 2010 and has not found out what she's having. Hopefully later this month or in January she will know. Which means my parents are also expecting grandbabies from both of their children. How cool is that!
So little Cletus will have cousins his same age on both sides. I had that growing up too. I was born in January (when Amber is due), Shayne in April, (which is probably the month that I'll deliver), and Eric in June (when Crystal is due). So according to my theory, Crystal and Josh should have a boy. Anyhoo, it was so much fun having cousins my same age. When I first moved back to Charlotte and went to school with them, I remember everyone coming up to me asking "if I were really Shayne & Eric's cousin". They got asked the same question. I joked that we should all get t'shirts saying "Yes, we are all cousins". We also all lived in the same neighborhood so we were together constantly. Of course, being the only girl, I got picked on a lot. I learned real early in life that I had to be tough or die doing it. I guess that's why I'm such tomboy and so independent today. Next time you see them, ask them about the making me jump the ditch. They'll know what you're talking about. Poor little Tink Tink. It's a wonder I survived my childhood. But I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
Anyhoo, now that I've officially shared that we're all expecting, expect (pun intended) me to keep you updated on their progress too.
Later Tater!
