Just checking in

I haven't written anything in a week so I thought I'd give a shout out to all my peeps! Shout out!!! Let's see, what's happened over the last week? Well, Friday Mom and I visited several day cares in the area. I think we visited 5 total. Our first choice would be the one behind the house on George Liles. It's a 5 star center. They have astroturf on their playground. They have a playground for babies to 1 yr, then another for 2-3, and so on. Each age group goes outside at different times. They also have a "water park" which has really cool sprinklers, not standing water. Their rooms are decorated in cool funky colors. It was a nice day and they had their windows open. Even in the newborn room they have "stations" that they take each child to. They even teach them sign language. It was awesome. The after school room has a Wii for crying out loud. Wonder if they would let me go there after work. Anyway, we refer to this place as "bling bling" because it costs $235 a WEEK! That's $12,200 a year. We only pay $8,544 for the HOUSE! We also visited McGill, which is also right by the house. They were $188 a week. That's $9776 a year. Still more than our house. But they are really nice, close by, 4 stars, and they belong to a church, which usually means little old ladies who give your child lots of hugs. There was one place that didn't even have windows in two of the rooms, which happens to be the rooms the newborn and infants use. The other places were nice but either farther away or cost more than McGill. So, it looks like McGill it is.
This past weekend, Rocky , his Mom and I drove down to Cherry Grove to see his Dad. Eddie takes the month of October off and fishes & golfs at the beach. We had beautiful weather. Mid to upper 70's with lots of sunshine. Rocky built a hole big enough for the two of us to sit in. The next day we built a sandcastle with Gavin and Lanea. I also caught hermit crabs for the fist time in my LIFE. I had to use a shovel, although I did pick one or two up. It was cool.
All in all, it was a great week. Oh yeah, Cletus is doing good too. We go back to the doctor on 10/19 and we have our next u/s on 10/23. That's when we'll find out if it's Cletus or Clemantine...
