It's a boy!

On Friday, we had an appoinment for a level II ultrasound. It's a precautionary u/s because I'm over 35. We found out 2 things at the u/s: #1, there are no signs of abnormalaties or deformaties. It appears we have a healthy baby. #2, it's a BOY! The picture to the left is a view of the baby's bottom with his legs extended to the left. Imagine he's sitting on a copier and you're seeing the view from the copy machine. In the center is a little white dot, which is actually an arrow point to the right at his "3rd knee" as Rocky calls it. In other words, the stem on our apple. The dark spot is his bladder.

This picture shows the baby's profile. His head is on the right looking up. His body is to his left. We think he has Rocky's nose, which I happen to think is a beautiful nose.

In this picture, the baby turned his head slightly towards the camera. If you look closely (tilt your head to the right), you can actually see both of his eyes, his little nose, and cute little mouth. I'm also hoping he has Rocky's lips because mine are pencil thin. Ain't he just the cutest!!! I can't wait to see him in person!

In this picture, you can see both of his feet. The foot on the left has the toes point to the left. The foot on the right looks like the toes are pinching the heel of the foot on the left. I happen to think his feet look a little large for his size but I wear a size 9 and Rocky wears as 13. So he's pretty much destined to have larger than normal feet. According to my Dad, that makes for fast feet!
