The story is out!

So, the big plan Friday night was to tell Dad's side of the family about us being pregnant. For years, and I mean 40+ years, my family has had Bar-B-Que King for dinner on Friday night. And since Mawmaw was out of town last week, her birthday weekend, Dad had spread the word that he was going to have a cake for her. I ended up baking the cake, as Cletus was craving chocolate cake. Rocky and I bought Mawmaw a birthday card and we headed to Charlotte. When we arrived, the gave Mawmaw the card and showed her the cake. Then I grabbed Dad from the living room and we joined Rocky and my Mom in the kitchen. Aunt Chris & Rodney were there, as well as Jordyn, Justing, Fran, Maddie, Aunt Pam, and Uncle Earl. Several people picked up on the fact that we were watching Mawmaw open her card so everyone sorta watched her. Inside, the card was signed Rocky, Tara & Baby Heglar and we included a copy of the ultrasound picture. She opened the card, read it, looked at the picture, looked back at the card and then back at the picture. Then she grinned like a Cheshire Cat. She looked over at us and asked "are you really?" I said yes, 8 weeks. I told her no one else in the room knew and whe should tell them so she said "Tara & Rocky are going to have baby!". It was the cutest thing ever!!! A few minutes later, Uncle Eddie and Aunt Vickie came in and she got to tell them. Then cousin Jessica came in and she got to tell her too. It made me so happy to see her face light up every time she got to tell someone. I also called cousin Shayne that night and told him. Everyone is very excited us!
