I got a new car!

Okay, so it's not new but it's new to me.  And it's not a car according to Rocky.  It's technically a truck.  But really, it's an SUV.  It's a Nissan Murano.  And I must admit, I HATED getting rid of the Altima.  I LOVED that car.  Not only was it beautiful, but it was fast for 4 doors.  But it was also becoming smaller since Charlie was born.  And with my bum shoulder, getting him in and out of the car was becoming a pain, literally.  And since Rocky works for Nissan and gets an employee discount, it only made sense to buy a Nissan.  Plus, I really like the Murano.  I think they're pretty too.  We test drove a silver one with black interior, and I really did like it.  But all my cars, with the exception of the Civic, have been white...the Maxima, the Z, the Blazer, the Accord and the Altima.  And I really wanted a white Murano.  But we were told that would be hard to get.  So when Rocky called me Tuesday and said a white one came into the shop, we new we had to act fast to get it.  It's basically loaded like the Altima, but without Nav, Bluetooth, sun roof, and heated seats.  Of those, I'll miss my heated seats the most.  Rocky says we can add all that aftermarket but I think I'll go without and see how I do.  Rocky says I'm spoiled.  He's right.  I can already tell it's much easier to get the car seat in and out.  And shopping will be much easier when you can pop the hatch instead of bending in and out of the trunk.  And I still love having a backup camera.  Someone needs a raise for thinking of that one.  Anyhoo, I love my new car.  I can't wait to go on vacation to see how I pack in it.  You thought I packed a lot in the Altima...just you wait!
