Right vs. wrong...is it really that grey?

OK, so I'm reading an article on charlotte.com about a 17 year old boy who was caught by police taking money out of a fountain at a shopping complex. He was arrested for stealing, his parents had to post bail for over $1000 and unless there is a plea or he pleads guilty, it goes to trial. What the boy did is not what I'm writing about today. What I'm writing about is all the people who are saying that he did nothing wrong b/c it was abandoned money. Are you KIDDING me? Some people are even suggesting that unless a sign is present saying "do not take" it's up for grabs. That's like saying balls in the McDonald's playground are up for grabs!

People, wake up! Teach your children right from wrong and that there are consequences for choosing wrong. That might mean a spanking, a financial penalty, or jail time. It might even mean your heart feels burdened until you do the right thing. And if your Momma or the Police don't getcha, the Good Lord will! I GUAR-ON-TEE (Justin Wilson style)! Who said that, I said that, Tara-Bull-Leigh!
